Vladimir Putin has started his visit to China

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in China on a visit to attend the Belt and Road forum. It is quite clear though that the visit program is going to culminate in Putin's talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Moscow and Beijing have been consistently demonstrating their strategic unity to the rest of the world, namely Washington, amid the aggressive US policy pushing others to the brink of a global war.

Putin's visit to China has been generally assessed in light of the American establishment’s strategic goals. Just a few days ago, a US Congress commission engaging former high-ranking officials of the State Department, the Pentagon and the Energy Ministry’s National Nuclear Safety Administration released a truly remarkable report. It urges the United States to prepare for simultaneously combating Russia and China, including nuclear warfare. "Today the United States is on the cusp of having not one, but two nuclear peer adversaries, each with ambitions to change the international status quo, by force, if necessary: a situation which the United States did not anticipate and for which it is not prepared," the report says.

Similar theses come from President Biden himself. He has repeatedly referred to Russia as the United States’ key threat, while labelling China as its "biggest competitor". Still, it is Russia that has become America’s military target by proxy of the Kiev regime. As for China, the United States is instigating a war with it through the Taiwan issue. In fact, the United States has been forming a circle of enemies around itself, creating an information and political field to present Moscow and Beijing as Washington’s existential opponents. This artificial warfare incitement with Russia and China is hardly beyond the American establishment’s strategic plans. A clear thing is that this man-made confrontation with Russia and China, despite our sincere aspirations to live in peace, has an ultimate goal of an exterminatory war or, at least, strategical weakening of Russia and China.

That is why the latter have to keep the American "strategists" on their toes. Americans must apprehend that their survival is unfeasible on any account. The bodily fear of death alone can avert the US establishment’s delusional plans to test Russia or China, or both.

In Beijing, the Russian President is accompanied by an impressive delegation, whose members and their engagement areas imply an across-the-board dialogue, with not a single economic or other issue suspended from the agenda. This kind of visit demonstrates to the whole world that Moscow and Beijing are increasingly building up ties of cooperation and alliance at a time when the United States is serious about deeming them as adversaries in a likely potential war.

We have long been assuring all the sober-minded people that Russia and China cannot be defeated if they combine forces — their economies, armies, intellectuals, and millennia-old traditions. The two are standing next to the cradle of a brand-new world, exchanging experience and agreeing to act in a body, which is a vital thing at the end of the day. This is the essence of strategic cooperation between Russian and Chinese leaders, with their theses virtually coinciding in many respects. Small wonder that on the eve of his visit, Putin said in an interview with Chinese media that the two "have always tried to reach a compromise, even on complicated issues inherited from the old days."

The world is now keeping a close eye on all-round strategic interaction between Russia and China. The fact of the matter is that a civilizational alliance is being established, with two ancient civilizations combining and intertwining their experiences. And these two civilizations offer the rest of mankind their shared vision of a new world to become an alternative to the current American-centric system.
