Gaza to be annexed by Israel

The leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah has withheld military support of HAMAS

In his lengthy, many-hour speech to the Lebanese freezing at the TV screens on November 3, head of the Hezbollah Shiite military-religious organization Hassan Nasrallah reassured the Lebanese population by waiving direct involvement of subordinate armed formations in the war with Israel on the side of Gaza Palestinians.

“We wished our best, you know the rest”, as the saying goes…

In one of its earlier pieces, our portal has informed readers about such a conflict scenario in the region, and about stances of third parties, namely the Shiites of Lebanon. To caveat from the outset, let’s refrain from accusing Hassan Nasrallah of betraying the Palestinians or dropping "pan-Arab solidarity": his decision to stay away from the war is a direct reflection of how the entire Arab (Muslim) world has responded to the developments in Gaza.

It does not matter how long you waste your breath with threats against Israel or shed tears for the suffering Palestinians like Recep Erdogan does to aggrandize himself in the eyes of both Turkey and global Islam. By the way, he has turned out the most vociferous in this situation. But both the Turks and Arabs are unable to take it a step further, rallying the leaders of Muslim states and taking some practical, at least restrictive measures against Israel, the United States and their Western allies.

We have reported that the collective Arab world is now nowhere near prepared to defend itself against aggressive encroachments by the Jewish state. The world is dissociated, devoured with contradictions of the mighty, weakened by the "color revolutions" that have swept through it, somehow scrambling out of debt pits to overcome its economic difficulties. It is the wrong time now for the Arabs to wage wars.

Hezbollah does have potent military and technical capabilities to inflict major damage on the state of Israel. But we might as well admit that in case of an armed Lebanese Shiite uprising against their southern neighbor, Israel, despite its operations in Gaza, is capable of wiping the floor with all the crucial economic objects of Lebanon, sparing not a single civilian. And none of the Arab world countries, with the sole exception of Syria, will stand up for the pearl of the Middle East.

Syria's involvement in another conflict with Israel is fraught with unpredictable consequences. Russia is not going to sit idly in such a situation, but it will apparently become the only one to resist the military organizations of Israel and NATO.

Russia’s military and political leadership has undoubtedly exercised extraordinary influence on Hezbollah leaders, the governments of Syria, Iraq, Iran, and a number of other countries to deter them from steps that may provoke conflict expansion. This is evidenced by meetings of heads of diplomatic departments held in both Moscow and the leading Arab capitals, along with top-level telephone conversations.

The Israeli government, aware of the Arab world’s state of affairs, would not heed to red-line warnings. For the first time in its entire history, the Jewish state has faced this kind of civilian casualties and military losses in its war with Gaza. But it is well worth the effort.

A rumor is being spread in the media that the Anglo-Saxons are allegedly debating a potential multinational force to be deployed in the Gaza Strip after Israel completes its ground mission and withdraws its troops.

Nonsense!

Sure enough, the nearest future will see the enclave lose not only every single HAMAS militant, but also every single Palestinian. The Jews suffered their heaviest losses not to yield control of the territory conquered by sweat and blood to the Americans or anyone else. The Gaza Strip will be annexed, with no one venturing to help the Palestinians regain it.

Benjamin Netanyahu is to win the campaign, making the Jewish state restore its reputation of the region’s strongest and most invincible country. Unless something extraordinary happens like Iran's military involvement.

For the time being, this is an unlikely thing. But the United States may well get back its influence in the Middle East. As for Palestine, its leaders themselves are largely to blame for the hopes doomed to disappointment as regards creating their own state. This idea has made the Arabs sick and tired, as they cannot traditionally unite to protect their national interests.
