Tucker Carlson, the most popular US TV presenter fired by Fox News, has launched his new independent show on Twitter. He was hopeful of a bombshell effect when stating that the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant’s dam was blown up by Ukraine itself over direct benefits, which runs counter to the American mainstream opinion. However, it can be readily understood that Carlson guises as his own opinion ideas of the local establishment, which he allegedly fought against at Fox News.
Of course, you might well conclude this guy is so independent he can say anything. But is it really so? Carlson himself is a political and information resource throughout America. His statement, supported by Twitter owner Elon Musk who allowed the launch of Carlson's show on his platform, was probably needed by someone in the USA. But whom precisely?
Forces opposing the American liberal establishment, or the "Washington swamp" as Donald Trump would put it, may seem to be using Tucker Carlson as their mouthpiece. To someone it may seem that Tucker Carlson has started preparing — or is being prepared — as a Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential race. And this may well prove true, because May 20 saw the political action committee Tucker PAC established to nominate the ex-Fox News host for president launch its campaign. Its main thesis is "Tucker will blow Biden in debates". Scared by Carlson’s would-be candidacy, The Washington Post released an acrimonious article to brand his suggestion about Ukraine’s having blown up the Kakhovka HPP plant a "conspiracy theory."
But on the other hand, it is hard to avoid the conclusion that Carlson's statement also pursues another important goal, which is at first not visible amid the buzz surrounding his new invective against the White House. This is about shifting all the blame for blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline from the United States onto Ukraine. Here's what Tucker Carlson literally said in the first edition of his show on Twitter: "Any fair person would conclude that the Ukrainians probably blew [the dam] up, just as you would assume they blew up Nord Stream, the Russian natural gas pipeline, last fall. And in fact, Ukrainians did do that, as we now know."
And how do "we now know" that it was the Ukrainians who blew up the Nord Stream? The point is that the same Washington Post has recently published a new portion of leaked CIA documents claiming to have irrefutable data about Ukraine’s engagement in the Baltic Sea sabotage. Thus, along with the Kakhovka HPP explosion truth, Carlson is dragging a lie about who really blew up the Nord Stream. With his help and the alleged CIA leakage, the liberal establishment evades suspicion of the pipeline blast. This is what Carlson's vivid speech about the Kakhovka HPP is meant to.
The Nord Stream explosion is an act of state terrorism, for which Washington, particularly the Biden administration, is not going to claim responsibility for. The "leak" from the CIA and Carlson's speech are obviously an attempt to divert suspicion from the United States and roll over on Ukraine. Washington is creating a toolkit necessary to accuse Zelensky of this international terrorist attack when the time is right, depriving him of support under the pretext that "Kiev has gotten out of hand." This will solve the US issue of withdrawing from the Ukraine conflict in view of Russia’s obvious upcoming victory. And the fact that America is looking for an acceptable way to "settle" the conflict has been indicated by numerous mainstream outlets and "insights" by the leading "think tanks", as well as other Washington’s signals to Moscow.
Along with truth about the Kakhovka HPP, Carlson pushes the "axiom" on Ukraine’s guilt in blowing up Nord Stream, too. Like, having blown up the pipeline, why wouldn't Kiev arrange another explosion? And vice versa. Curiously, The Washington Post has pointed to Carlson's stance metamorphosis, as he used to blame the US administration alone for the Baltic Sea incident. "Despite now saying Ukraine blew up Nord Stream, he spent months on his Fox News show saying something very different. Without any real evidence, he repeatedly claimed it was the United States who blew up Nord Stream," the newspaper reports.
Biden, who earlier publicly threatened to destroy the gas pipeline if Russia invaded Ukraine, is now exposed to real danger. A politician convicted of issuing such an order will have to face international tribunal or at least have his reputation spoiled to put an end to his political career. This is critically dangerous ahead of the presidential race, with Republicans rooting against Biden by hedge or by stile. Therefore, it is more profitable for the "Washington swamp" to surrender the Kiev regime, blaming it both on the Nord Stream and the Kakhovka HPP, so as not to lose more – the whole of America. And Tucker Carlson seems to have taken up the invitation to enter business.
