The European Union’s sanctions against Russia in the energy sector should be removed, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.
"It is necessary to remove energy sanctions. Energy resources for the European economy should be released from restrictions," he told a press conference.
Brussels’ policy, on the sanctions issue among other things, "has put the European Union in a tight squeeze," Orban noted, adding that Europeans currently have to pay for energy 3-4 times more than Americans do.
