Russian troops liberated the community of Topoli in the Kharkov Region over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, TASS reported citing Russia’s Defense Ministry.

"Battlegroup West units improved their tactical position and liberated the settlement of Topoli in the Kharkov Region through active operations," the ministry said in a statement.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 25 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed four enemy vehicles in its area of responsibility in the Kharkov Region over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup North units operating in the Kharkov direction inflicted losses on formations of a motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian army and a territorial defense brigade in areas near the settlements of Liptsy and Volchansk in the Kharkov Region," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 25 personnel and four motor vehicles in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted roughly 200 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed six enemy artillery guns in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

During the last 24-hour period, Battlegroup West units "inflicted losses among manpower and equipment of three mechanized brigades, an airborne brigade and an assault brigade of the Ukrainian army and a territorial defense brigade in areas near the settlements of Kupyansk, Kamenka, Stepovaya Novosyolovka and Lozovaya in the Kharkov Region and Makeyevka in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 200 personnel, an armored combat vehicle, four motor vehicles and six field artillery guns, among them four NATO weapons, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed a Kvertus electronic warfare station and three ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted roughly 180 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed a US-made counterbattery radar station in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup South units gained better lines and positions and inflicted losses on formations of five mechanized brigades and an airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian army in areas near the settlements of Seversk, Verkhnekamenskoye, Novomarkovo, Chasov Yar, Stupochki, Chervonoye and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 180 personnel and two motor vehicles in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed a US-made AN/TPQ-50 counterbattery radar station and an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted roughly 315 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy armored combat vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Center units improved their frontline positions and inflicted losses among manpower and equipment of five mechanized brigades, a jaeger brigade, an assault brigade and an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army and two National Guard brigades in areas near the settlements of Shcherbinovka, Zverevo, Sergeyevka, Shevchenko, Udachnoye, Uspenovka and Andreyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 315 personnel, two Kazak armored combat vehicles, seven motor vehicles and three artillery guns in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted more than 145 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed three enemy artillery guns in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup East units kept advancing deep into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted losses on formations of a tank brigade, two mechanized brigades, an air assault brigade of the Ukrainian army and three territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Konstantinopol, Komar, Skudnoye, Volnoye Pole and Burlatskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Gulyaipole in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours totaled more than 145 personnel, three armored combat vehicles, two motor vehicles and three field artillery guns, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted roughly 60 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy ammunition depot in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted damage on manpower and equipment of three mechanized and three coastal defense brigades of the Ukrainian army in areas near the settlements of Kamenskoye and Shcherbaki in the Zaporozhye Region, Stepnoye, Tokarevka, Ponyatovka and Pridneprovskoye in the Kherson Region," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 60 personnel, an armored combat vehicle and seven motor vehicles in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

In addition, Russian forces destroyed an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russian forces hammer Ukrainian military airfields, army deployment areas in past day

Russian forces struck Ukrainian military airfields, UAV operator training sites and army deployment areas over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck the infrastructure of military airfields, UAV operator training sites and temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations in 127 locations," the ministry said.

Russian air defenses destroy 71 Ukrainian UAVs, two JDAM smart bombs over day

Russian air defense forces shot down 71 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and two JDAM smart bombs over the past day, the ministry reported.

"Air defense capabilities shot down two US-made JDAM guided aerial bombs and 71 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 656 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 44,334 unmanned aerial vehicles, 596 surface-to-air missile systems, 21,720 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,521 multiple rocket launchers, 21,992 field artillery guns and mortars and 32,085 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
