Russian troops liberated the community of Privolnoye in the Donetsk region over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, TASS reported citing Russia’s Defense Ministry.
"Battlegroup East units liberated the settlement of Privolnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic through active and decisive actions," the ministry said in a statement.
During the last 24-hour period, Battlegroup East units inflicted losses on formations of three mechanized brigades, a jaeger brigade and an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army, two territorial defense brigades and a National Guard brigade in areas near the settlements of Kamyshevakha, Bogatyr, Fyodorovka, Iskra, Dneproenergyia, Novopol and Burlatskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Yanvarskoye in the Dnepropetrovsk Region and Gulyaipole in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to 175 personnel, a tank, an armored combat vehicle, four motor vehicles and four field artillery guns, including a US-made Paladin self-propelled artillery system and a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery gun, it specified.

"Battlegroup North units operating in the Kharkov direction inflicted losses on formations of a mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army, a territorial defense brigade and two border guard detachments of Ukraine’s Border Guard Service in areas near the settlements of Lobanovka, Kazachya Lopan, Veterinarnoye and Volchansk in the Kharkov Region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 40 personnel, an infantry fighting vehicle, four motor vehicles, an artillery gun and an electronic warfare station in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

"Battlegroup West units improved their tactical position and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of five mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian army near the settlements of Kupyansk and Podvysokoye in the Kharkov Region, Novoye and Shandrigolovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Novolyubovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic and in the area of the Serebryanka forestry," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost more than 200 personnel, six pickup trucks, five field artillery guns, including three Western-made weapons, an Anklav-N electronic warfare station and three ammunition depots in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

"Battlegroup South units gained better lines and positions and inflicted casualties on formations of four mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian army, a territorial defense brigade and two National Guard brigades in areas near the settlements of Pleshcheyevka, Shevchenko, Dyleyevka, Krymskoye, Seversk, Aleksandropol, Minkovka and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted roughly 600 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed five enemy infantry fighting vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup Center units kept advancing deep into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted losses on formations of four mechanized brigades, an assault brigade, three jaeger brigades, an unmanned systems brigade and an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army, a marine infantry brigade and two National Guard brigades in areas near the settlements of Novopavlovka, Krasnoarmeisk, Zverevo, Kotlino, Uspenovka, Udachnoye, Yelizavetovka, Petrovskoye, Dimitrov, Mirolyubovka, Alekseyevka, Zelyonoye and Sribnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 600 personnel, five infantry fighting vehicles, including four US-made Bradley IFVs, an M113 armored personnel carrier and three MaxxPro armored combat vehicles of US manufacture and two artillery weapons in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr inflicted roughly 90 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed three enemy electronic warfare stations in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted losses among manpower and equipment of four mechanized and three coastal defense brigades of the Ukrainian army and three territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Pyatikhatki, Novodanilovka, Shcherbaki, Lukyanovskoye and Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye Region, Antonovka, Dneprovskoye and Lvovo in the Kherson Region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 90 personnel, seven motor vehicles, a field artillery gun and three electronic warfare stations in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.
Russian troops strike Ukrainian Special Forces boats over past day
Russian troops struck Ukrainian military airfields, a fuel depot, UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) assembly workshops and a base of Special Forces boats over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck the infrastructure of military airfields, an oil depot that supplied fuel to Ukrainian army units, UAV production workshops and control posts, a base of Special Forces boats, the headquarters of the Kraken nationalist formation and massed manpower and equipment of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 150 areas," the ministry said.
Russian air defenses destroy 51 Ukrainian UAVs, six JDAM smart bombs over past day
Russian air defense forces shot down 51 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and six JDAM smart bombs over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Air defense capabilities shot down six US-made JDAM guided aerial bombs and 51 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 656 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 45,318 unmanned aerial vehicles, 600 surface-to-air missile systems, 21,989 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,523 multiple rocket launchers, 22,286 field artillery guns and mortars and 32,455 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
