Russian forces struck a Ukrainian military airfield, production facilities of a weapons enterprise and attack UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) assembly workshops over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, TASS reported citing Russia’s Defense Ministry.
"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck infrastructure facilities of a military airfield, production capacities of a weapons enterprise of Ukraine’s military-industrial sector, workshops producing attack unmanned aerial vehicles, a logistics supply base of the Ukrainian army, rocket and ammunition depots and massed manpower and equipment of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 157 areas," the ministry said in a statement.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 80 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy artillery guns in its area of responsibility in the Belgorod direction over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Belgorod direction, Battlegroup North units struck massed manpower and equipment of two mechanized brigades and an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army and a territorial defense brigade in areas near the settlements of Prokhody, Ugroyedy, Stepok and Mikhailovskoye in the Sumy Region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 80 personnel, an armored combat vehicle, a motor vehicle and two artillery guns in that frontline area over the last 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted more than 210 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed nine enemy artillery guns in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup West units improved their forward positions and inflicted losses on formations of two mechanized brigades, an airmobile brigade and an air assault regiment of the Ukrainian army in areas near the settlements of Kondrashovka, Boguslavka and Novoplatonovka in the Kharkov Region and Yampol in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost more than 210 personnel, three pickup trucks and nine field artillery guns, including a British-made 155mm FH70 howitzer in that frontline area over the last 24 hours, it specified.

"Battlegroup South units gained better lines and positions and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of five mechanized brigades and an airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian army, two territorial defense brigades and a National Guard brigade in areas near the settlements of Seversk, Pleshcheyevka, Platonovka, Minkovka, Chasov Yar and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost more than 280 personnel, a tank, five armored combat vehicles, including an M113 armored personnel carrier and a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle of US manufacture and eight motor vehicles in that frontline area over the last 24 hours, it specified.
In addition, Russian forces destroyed two ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

"Battlegroup Center units improved their tactical position and inflicted losses on formations of a mechanized brigade, an assault brigade, an unmanned systems brigade, an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army, a marine infantry brigade and a National Guard brigade in areas near the settlements of Mirolyubovka, Dimitrov, Krasnoarmeisk, Kotlino, Zverevo and Alekseyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

"Battlegroup East units kept advancing deep into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of three mechanized brigades, an airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian army, a territorial defense brigade and an Aidar nationalist battalion in areas near the settlements of Konstantinopol, Bogatyr, Komar and Otradnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr destroyed roughly 80 Ukrainian troops and an enemy electronic warfare station in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted losses on formations of a mechanized brigade, a mountain assault brigade, two coastal defense brigades of the Ukrainian army and two territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Novodanilovka, Lobkovoye, Stepnogorsk and Novopokrovka in the Zaporozhye Region and Antonovka in the Kherson Region," the ministry said.
"As many as 80 [Ukrainian] military personnel, five motor vehicles, an artillery gun, an electronic warfare station and an ammunition depot were destroyed," the ministry said.
Russian air defenses down Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter, 137 UAVs over past day
Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet and 137 unmanned aerial vehicles over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Air defense capabilities shot down a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 plane, two JDAM guided aerial bombs and a rocket of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system of US manufacture and 137 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said in a statement.
Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 660 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 48,599 unmanned aerial vehicles, 601 surface-to-air missile systems, 22,511 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,532 multiple rocket launchers, 23,011 field artillery guns and mortars and 33,388 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
