Georgian Minister of Police and Public Security Vano Merabishvili has ruled out any South-Ossetian connection in the terror attack committed in Gori.
"I can state with a high degree of probability that the terror attack in Gori was not committed by Georgian or South-Ossetian criminal groups. More likely, it has been organized from outside Georgia", said V. Merabishvili after an extraordinary meeting of the Georgian National Security Council.
"We have requested our colleagues in Russia to actively aid us in investigating this crime and apprehending its planners and executors", the Minister said.
