The latest US and Western sanctions did not affect oil production in Russia, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
"According to daily statistics, we do not see the decline in [oil] production. The production volume in total is higher than in previous months. No adjustments are in place at present," he said.
On October 22, the US introduced sanctions against Russian oil majors Rosneft and Lukoil and their subsidiaries.
