Japan should not tell Russia, one of the victors in World War II, which monuments to erect or what to depict on them, Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky said.
"Japan should not tell the victors in World War II which monuments to erect on their own territory or what to depict on them," Medinsky wrote on his Telegram channel.
He added that the lessons of history should be remembered.
