The wave of protests in the European Union will only intensify as winter approaches, with objective reasons for this in place, TASS reported citing the European Politico edition.
The EU is heading into a period of serious unrest across the bloc this autumn and winter as the rising cost of living and soaring fuel prices compound growing discontent among young people in many countries, according to the publication.
A series of parliamentary and presidential elections will take place across major EU countries within nine months, beginning with elections in Spain this November, Politico said. Street protests are set to intensify in the run-up to those contests, further complicating preparations for them.
