NASA is working with partners from Russia and other countries to ensure crew complement for safe operation of the International Space Stations (ISS), NASA Spokesperson Stephanie Schierholz told TASS.
"NASA is continuously working with its stakeholders and partners from Canada, Europe, Japan, and Russia to ensure a crew complement in orbit to safely operate, maintain, and maximize scientific use of the International Space Station. Crew assignments are made public after they are finalized," Schierholz said when asked to comment on Russian media reports that NASA was looking at obtaining an additional seat onboard the Russian Soyuz spacecraft for a NASA astronaut.
