Human rights organization "Amnesty International" has demanded that Estonian prime-minister Andrus Ansip give a clear answer on whether the CIA was using Estonian airfields or airspace for its "torture flights".
"Amnesty International" is investigating reports of Estonian airfields and airspace being used by the CIA for secretly transporting POWs.
As has been ascertained, on January 12, 2003, "Boeing 737" aircraft belonging to the CIA landed at Piarnu airdrome. At the time Estonian authorities assured world public that the plane was not transporting any POWs.
