The UN Security Council has given the Iranian leadership one month to end uranium enrichment. All the fifteen members of the Security Council have unanimously voted in favor of the relevant statement.
In its document the UN Security Council has called on Iran to take steps requested by the Council of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to assure international community having full trust in the peaceful purposes of Iran's nuclear program.
The Security Council has stressed the importance of the Iranian government declaring a full and sustained suspension of uranium enrichment and making all nuclear research work absolutely transparent for the IAEA. After 30 days the IAEA has to submit a report on Tehran's compliance with the Agency's demands.
