Militants of the ETA extremist organization in Spain launched a new terror attack on Sunday. This time it was the Mediterranean holiday resort of Denia in the south-east of the country.
The bomb went off at the Port Denia hotel. Just before the explosion the police had received a call warning about the coming terror attack and tried to immediately evacuate the hotel guests. Normally ETA always gives notice of proposed bombings, so the police would have time to hustle people off the danger area.
This time, though urgent action was taken, still a few casualties were suffered. Two people were injured in the explosion and taken to hospital.
