Riga City authorities have approved a march by the nationalist youth organization "Klubs 415" to honor veterans of the Latvian "Waffen SS" divisions, planned for March 16.
The decision to approve the march was taken by executive director of the Latvian capital Maris Tralmaks. Neither did the law enforcement authorities have any objection to the march of about 50 young Nazi-lovers through the center of the city.
In Latvia March 16 is remembered as the day when the "Waffen SS" legion was created. Until recently the date was an official commemoration day.
