At a meeting with members of the Council for the Promotion of Institutes of Civil Society and Human Rights, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would not tolerate the financing of political activities of public organizations from abroad.
"No self-respecting state allows that, and neither shall we. We are against the financing of political activities of public organization in Russia from abroad. I strongly object to that", said V. Putin.
President urged Russian citizens to solve internal political problems themselves. He stressed that he was aware of the fact that "funds from abroad are coming for specific political activities in Russia", and in sensitive fields.
