In Daghestan law-enforcement organs have foiled a large-scale terrorist attack against the republic's top officials. Five home-made explosive devices, with capacity of 10-12 kg in TNT equivalent each, have been found in a private house in one of the villages of the Levashinsk District.
According to the investigators' information, the terrorists planned to use the explosives on November 3, during Id-el-Fitr religious holiday, when a motorcade carrying republican top officials would drive past.
