Rioting continues in France, but its intensity is going down. According to the data of French law-enforcement authorities, "only" 398 cars were burned last night. Police made 168 arrests.
The number of "riotous" localities has also decreased. During the last 24 hours disturbances were registered only in some suburbs of Paris, Toulouse, Lyons and Strasbourg.
At the same time, French extremists have been enjoying support among the marginalized groups of other European countries. In Greece local anarchists staged an anti-French manifestation in front of the French Institute building. The building was pelted with stones and paint cans.
Earlier, disorders had been reported in Belgium and Germany.
