The speaker at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mrs. Ruth-Gabi Vermo-Mangold, having investigated the accusations of newborn babies being stolen in Ukraine's maternity hospitals, has made a conclusion that babies are really being stolen in Ukraine.
"I didn't know to what extent the rumors of babies disappearing from maternity hospitals were true. Everything turned out to be real, and babies do disappear", she said. Mrs. Vermo-Mangold also said that, in her view, such crimes are being committed for the purpose of having the organs of the newborn babies transplanted.
