A joint Russian-US command-staff exercise in anti-missile defense (AMD) of the theater of operations is scheduled to be held in Moscow from April 12 to 23. The venue of the exercise is the Fourth Central Research Institute of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The objective of the exercise is to coordinate staff action of tactical units of non-strategic air-defense and anti-missile defense in organizing an anti-missile defense of third-party facilities against strikes of non-strategic ballistic missiles when a coalition military action is taken under the auspices of international organizations.
